CELLAR CAT! "Like being in a living room!" is what we hear the most. Like being in OUR living room, because, like most people: we spend more time at work than at home so this is the ULTIMATE "remote" work.
The above panorama photo really says it all: it was taken on a cell phone by an Italian winemaker visiting us for a few hours, and everyone in this photo are family. Our Kingston family. Our Kitsap County familia.
Omar & Janet, James the piano guy & Michael the drummer. Incredible Stella Rossi (of Deseo Carmin fame). The commodore from the yacht club next door and her handsome HubCat. There's Kim from Kingston Alehouse (owner) and part of her magnificent crew. Hey, there's Lisa and Joe and Chrissie and Michael and... Almost all of our besties, every seat in the house taken, a few standing, everyone happy & purring. (Not photographed are the cats we didn't have room for !!! sorry!!!).
Guess we need a bigger, or another, cat house? Larger litter box to think outside of?
We are Cellar Cat. We love our jazz. Our piano bar. Our clever gifts. Our tasty snacks. We love our Hood Canal beer. Our Finn River Cider. Our Washington cabernets and syrahs, our Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, our Italians and French, South African and Australian, our Gruner Veltliner, our Bainbridge Island Seigerebe, our fine local art. We love our giant hard-to-do 1000 piece wine puzzles (always on the big table, and also for sale). We love the sourdough aromas wafting over from Willy's next door, and that delicious ice cream right there at Island Cool, and we adore those fabulous crazies across the street - the Saucy Sailor - making deliciousness even saucier, speedier, and lip smacky.
And most of all: we love you. Kingston, Kitsap, Kitty Kats.
Below are some random pics taken here and there (a fraction of what goes on). Send us YOUR photos. Come hither and hang out. You are cordially invited to spend some time with the cool cats of Kingston, a ferry hop from Seattle, and a world away.
